This Privacy Policy explains how JugnuLive AI ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use our website https://jugnu.live and the services offered through it.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information: first name, last name, email address, mobile number, date of birth, location, experience level, and password (stored only as a hashed value).
- Assessment data: your answers to the RIASEC and skills questionnaires, and the resulting scores.
- Resume data: the personal details, education, skills, projects, experience, and certifications you enter voluntarily to generate AI-tailored resumes.
- Payment data: when you pay for a plan, we receive only the transaction identifier, plan, amount and success/failure status from our payment gateway (Razorpay). We do NOT store your card, UPI, or net-banking credentials on our servers.
- Usage data: log-in timestamps, download counts, and lightweight LLM call metadata used to run the platform and calculate our operating costs.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and secure your account and authenticate you.
- To generate personalised career reports and resumes using large-language-model APIs.
- To process payments and unlock the corresponding downloads on your account.
- To send you transactional emails (account, payment confirmations) and, if you opt in, occasional product updates.
- To improve the service, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers strictly necessary to run the platform: our cloud hosting provider, our database provider, our email provider, our payment gateway (Razorpay), and our AI/LLM providers. Each of them is bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
4. Cookies & Local Storage
We use local storage on your browser to keep you logged in via a JSON Web Token, and to remember session preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You can request permanent deletion of your account and all associated records at any time by writing to admin@jugnu.live. We will complete deletion within 30 days of a verified request, except where retention is required by law.
6. Security
Passwords are stored using bcrypt hashing. Payment traffic is redirected to the payment gateway's secure hosted checkout — we never see your card or UPI credentials. All API traffic is served over HTTPS.
7. Your Rights
- Access, correct, or update your information from the app or by contacting us.
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Request permanent deletion of your account.
- Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time.
8. Children
JugnuLive AI is intended for users aged 16 and above. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Material changes will be notified to you by email or in-app notice.
